Thalang city borders Pa Klok to the east and Bangtao-Layan to the west. It embodies 2 important sub-districts including Sri Sunthon and Thep Kasattri. It’s one of the hubs of Phuket local life located 20 minutes away from Phuket International Airport.
Thalang was Phuket’s former center, thus it contains a great number of historic sites and well-known temple like Wat Phra Thong and Wat Phra Nang Sang. Most of the areas here are used for agriculture with slow real estate growth. Thalang has a country city vibe with rubber and palm trees plantations and small wooden houses that infiltrate between these plantations on both sides of the road.
